Dysfunction, or abnormal function, can result in problems in the jaw joints (TMJ and/or arthritis), chewing muscles (related pain) and associated muscles of the head and neck.

Not only can this dysfunction cause people to suffer from headache and head pain, but snoring and obstructive sleep apnea as well.

Dr. Zipkin believes that one must thoroughly understand all phases of dental and oral orthopedic problems in order to properly treat any one of them. All are inter-connected.
